How to Keep Our Railways and Railway Line clean
Yesterday, I was traveling by train and sitting near a window seat. As the train passed through, I notice very dirty thing (you must have also notice this thing, many times) that lots of plastic tea cups, wafer packets, and other plastic bags were lying around the railway track. Every now and then when I travel by this route I find this garbage piling up more and more day by day. Don’t you feel sad for this? Don’t you feel a bit of guilt in ourselves that we are too at some extend responsible for it. Can we clean this system of throwing the garbage near and around the railway tracks? Shouldn’t we as a traveler of train have a right to enjoy the journey with clean and healthy environment? Then lets join hands and work towards it.
We are one of the best cultured community of the world, so does our culture teaches us to throw waste in our own house. Isn’t our country our own home?
As we all know that from today Me, You, We, He, She, who ever has read this article will stop doing this but how and who will stop those traveler who are illiterate and are more so responsible to throw those waste out of the window, while traveling by train. Now the question is how do we stop ourselves and others doing so?
Let’s beginning with a very small step, such as buying a cup of tea from the canteen vendor or station vendor.
A) Always carry your own small cup (maybe made of good quality reusable plastic).
B) Insist the vendor to serve you tea in your own cup.
C) If possible teach your neighbor traveler to adopt this practice too.
D) If possible carry few etc cups so that you can share with those people who are traveling with you. If you don’t mind Gift them that cup and insist them to carry along with them whenever they travel and remember you as your friendship token.
E) Last but not the least, if you can’t carry a small manageable cup with you, please do not have tea in any plastic disposable cup.
Positive effect on the society and obliviously an obligation on our railway system.
- Carrying your own cup ensures you that you are having hygienic tea.
- The vendor of the tea gets one plastic cup of more profit in his business.
- If that person whom you have thought to use his/her own cup will surely bless you and in return will teach few more other to do so. I bet.
- Sharing one etc cups means letting your hand for a new friendship and it means a lot in our system harmony.
- Practicing these steps means you have helped a bit from your side to clean our Railway Track garbage.
If you do not like my idea of this cleanliness, you can throw away this piece of article in the dustbin and if you like it, kindly start practicing from today and distribute this practice among your friends and relative.
I am not a good writer, but I am sure I have given you the message.
