we have named our sons : Shoaib & Raj (after Molai Raj). but there are websites which offer names but usually they are muslims names not specifically for bohris. What you can do is select 4-5 names which you like and take it to your amilsaheb for approval before you name your baby.

An interesting one I have heard being given recently with our Maula's blessings is " Daniel"

Other pretty modern names of recent ( I am not sure whether they had Maula's blessings ) have been

Sajir , Hannah & Sarrah

Daniel!! I have fallen in love with this name already..... how do we approve the name for the child? Like suppose I like a few names, can I take a list of them and ask someone to guide me as to which one I can keep? Can such an Arzi be sent to Aqa Maula (TUS)? And since i am based in UAE, will I get these names by email???

I dont know if you are looking for girls or boys name. This are not new but rarely used ones.

here are a few.

girls name : Naqiyah, Nooriyah, Lamiyah. Tanzeem, Nazneen, Ismat.

boys name: Taha, Ilyaas, Kaizer.

there are so many names in our dictionery, it is not possible to mention here.

i am suggesting that if you go on ejamat web site and go for new registration, there is a column for our names and if you open that column you will be find so many names of boys and girls which are registered with our jamat, hence there will be no problems if it is okeyed by our aqa moula sayedna mohmed burhanuddin saheb (TUS).

go to e-jamat web site and find out.

allah give our aqa moula long nad healthy life.
